Human SSC propagation and transplantation (WP1)

In this work-package, we will further characterize recently established human testicular culture systems to understand, control and optimize the process of spermatogonial stem cell (SSC) propagation in vitro on the molecular, cellular and organ level in respect to various freezing protocols, culture media and propagation of SSCs from cancer patients before chemotherapy and those that were already exposed to gonadotoxic treatments.
